HOW CAN YOU FIGHT A VAPOR CLOUD, BOTOX AND THE POLITBURO? Hillary Campaign finding it impossible...as will McCain
The man dubbed "the magic negro" by the Los Angeles Times earlier this year is indeed turning out to be just that, much to the chagrin of Hillary Clinton and Clinton, Inc. The Clinton's keep flailing away, swinging wildly and madly and often...but seldom if ever landing a punch. Afterall, there appears to be nothing of flesh with which to connect.
Barack Obama is not a target. There's no "there there." And while there not being any there...there...can be a major problem if you are say, President of the United States and the challenges you face DO have substance...vapidness and vacancy can be one helluva benefit if you are campaigning. Especially if your target audience is the Democrat Primary voter.
You see, Obama says nothing. But he says it damn well. As Bill Sammon of the Washington Examiner said the other day, "how do you campaign against hope?" Indeed. I would imagine that hope comes in just below sex and just above puppies on a poll of peoples' favorite things. Hope is good. Hope is uplifting. But then, so is botox.
And like botox, Obama's up lifting is phony and temporary. But its effects generally looks better than the old wrinkles around it. Especially pasty white wrinkles from Arkansas by way of New York...or even pastier and whiter wrinkles from say, Arizona. (not that McCain has seen Arizona much in the last 25 years, but you get the idea). Obama appears ready to run Hillary right out of the campaign, opening up the Lincoln bedroom...and the Oval Office...to the Obama girl in lieu of chubby interns.
But back to the vapor. There is nothing for Hillary to gain traction around. Obama was some kind of state legislator in Illinois when the attacks of September 11 occurred. Not sure what he was doing when those attacks were planned, financed and put into place. Probably financing his legislative run with seedy land deals. Hillary, on the other hand, was co-President when the attacks were planned, financed and put into place. (come to think of it, not sure that's a great selling point for Hillary afterall...)
But back to the point. B. Hussein Obama has no record. He has no history. He has no blue dress or knee pads. He has nothing but good looks, youth, inexperience and eloquent platitudes of absolutely nothing of substance. He does have a 100% grade from liberal groups who grade politicians....but that is not much for Hillary to attack either.
And sadly, that is not much for McCain to attack either. They agree on not torturing terrorists. They agree on closing Gitmo. They agree that CEO's make too much money. They agree neither one of them has the slightest idea what a CEO is or where that money comes from. They agree that evil America is the sole cause of global warming and that our economy should be trashed so that India and China can continue to trash the planet unabridged. They agree that the First Amendment should be snuffed out in favor or campaign finance reform. They agree and agree and agree.
There hasn't been so much agreement since the Politburo was in session in Moscow. Come to think of it, the Politburo agreed that America should not torture terrorists, that American CEO's made too much money, that they had no idea what CEOs were or where the money came from, and that America's economy should be trashed for any number of reasons, that America is the cause of global warming and in fact all evil and injustice.. and that free speech should be crushed at anytime for any reason. They in fact think that all politicians should always get along and even agree. They just shoot those who don't play nice or send them to the Gulag.
Wow! Ain't that "bi partisanship" a great thing.
