TOP TEN REASONS NOT TO NOMINATE JOHN MCCAIN
10: Chris Matthews wants him to win the nomination.(now why do you suppose that is?)
9: He was NO WHERE to be found in support of Bush in the 2000 FL aftermath of the election. (afterall, a Bush win meant 8 years before he could run)
8: McCain thinks "Private Sector" is someone he knew in the military.
7: Campaign Finance Reform (CFR) did the opposite of what was intended, and is unconstitutional, but McCain is proud of it.
6: McCain is against water boarding, despite the fact it does work and is constitutional.
5: Tim Russert wants him to win the nomination. (see item 10)
4: He is embarrassed by conservative judges when they "wear it on their sleeves." (that means if they really mean it.)
3: Did I mention the New York Times endorsement?
2: He spearheaded the "Gang of 14" that kept good judges off the bench.(the best thing he could do to advance liberalism)
...and the number one reason NOT to nominated John McCain is:
1: John Kerry seriously thought about picking him as his running mate in 2004 and McCain WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED. (enuff said).
