BY REQUEST...OR PERHAPS BY MERE WEIGHT OF CRITICAL MASS....ANOTHER TOP TEN REASONS NOT TO NOMINATE JOHN MCCAIN:
10: Has mentioned his POW experience now even more than John Kerry mentioned his sinking Swift Boat (by the way, can we get a candidate who actually avoided capture or disaster on the battlefield? Where are you Ike? Or Duke Cunningham for that matter..)
9: Has worked hard to insure we cannot drill in ANWR and remain more dependent on foreign oil.
8: Considers Justice Samuel Alito "too conservative."
7: In 2001, negotiated with Tom Daschle on leaving the Republican Party (and now lies about it). Damn....if only....
6: Opposes the Marriage Protection Amendment (no doubt because it is consistent with original intent...much like his First Amendment attack via CFR).
5: Actively defended John Kerry as being strong on national security during the 2004 campaign.
4: Claims to be pro life but does not want Roe overturned...(and then has gall to call Romney a flip flopper on this issue. At least Mitt isn't flipping and flopping simultaneously).
3: Can you say "McCain-Kennedy-Edwards?" (not in polite company of course...just what we need, more Trial Lawyer influence on our economy.)
2: Has announced he will not campaign negatively against Obama if he is nominated (you know , like mentioning that Obama is most liberal senator, has ties to Chicago political machine, was a local alderman just a few years ago...in other words...he won't really try to win. This could explain number one reason...)
AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON NOT TO NOMINATE JOHN MCCAIN: According to pollsters, the Republicans have not had a primary candidate as "electable" in a general election since Bob Dole in 1996.</span
